I may be a word on the street

But You’re the talk of the town

I’m just a drop in the bucket

You’re the flood coming down

I know You’ve said, that for You, it’s all about us

And You prove it with all that You do

But, for me, Lord

I may be a light on the hill

But You’re the blazing of day

I’m just a piece of the puzzle

You’re the Truth and the Way

And it’s awkward for me to be lavished with praise

When it’s You who should get Your due

So from this day on

I’m insisting it’s all about You

 

You’re the One behind the sun and moon and starlit skies

You’re the breath of all that runs and crawls and swims and flies

You’re behind every tree, every mountain and sea

And You’ve managed to keep from view
