Thanks so much, Joseph. I really do hope it's all making sense and clearly expressing the point I'm trying to make. :)

Thank you for these additional thoughts, Rachel. There really are so many possible layers of the scriptures...and it is wonderful how God lets us discover them slowly...which has a way of keeping us interested, or still in the game, and excited to learn more. :)
I hope you have a "mighty heart and a strong mind" day! :)

I read a talk this past week from Elder Bednar entitled Your Whole Souls as an Offering Unto Him. It was interesting to read his interpretation of how we serve God:

“Typically we would interpret heart, might, mind, and strength as four separate but
interrelated factors that are required in the service of God. (Doctrine & Covenants 4:2) May I suggest an additional interpretation? Please consider the word “might” as descriptive of the “heart.” In other words,
a mighty heart is required for serving God. Now also consider that the word “strength” as
descriptive of the “mind.” Therefore, to effectively serve God we must have a mighty heart and a strong mind."

He continues on with these questions: "My dear young brothers and sisters, what will you and I be prepared to offer unto God? Will you and I offer a mighty heart and strong mind, indeed, our whole soul, unto God?"

Thanks for offering up your feelings and remarks on this topic Kenneth. These two things have made me stop and think on the offerings of my own heart and soul. Am I giving service to check it off of my list, or am I offering up my whole soul to my God and dedicating myself to His higher purpose?

I rejoice if God blessed you in any way because of this, Lauren!
You are angelic. But above all, you are God's! You belong to Him...and you are LOVED! :)

OH MY GOODNESS I LIKE THIS TIMES A MILLION!!! No wait I take that back I LOVE LOVE LOVE this times a million!!!!! SO TRUE SO TRUE SO TRUE!!!!! I am so grateful for the real love I have for my Savior!! For my real intent in wanting to serve!! Bringing others to Christ is the key.....BUT our hearts have to be in the RIGHT PLACE. Having a true LOVE for others while we serve is essential without it our works are simply dead. While doing this we bring ourselves closer to Him THEN he will really know us!!! I LOVE JESUS!!!! <3 I really really do!! Oh i could just go on and on! But I won't... haha : ) Thank you so much Brother Cope for this!! WONDERFUL! JUST WONDERFUL!!!!!!
